Architecture and Design Scotland (A+DS) is Scotland's champion for excellence in placemaking, architecture and planning. We are an Executive NDPB of the Scottish Government. A+DS aims to support the creation of places that work, which provide people with real choices and, are ultimately, places where people want to be.
We champion the highest standards in architecture and placemaking across all sectors, advocating a better understanding of the importance of quality design in both the public and private sectors.

Coming to our attention via their current show at The Lighthouse, Architecture and Design Scotland are an officially recognised champion of architecture and design, complementary (we imagine) to the RIAS. They have a steadily accumulating Reports and Studies section.
